FLY FISHING, SIGHTCASTING AND
Capt. "Jackie" Campbell in the Texas Coastal Bend!
READ MY CURRENT FISHING
REPORT: AUGUST 15, 2014
Well itís been mighty hot and the
tide has remained extremely low. The redfish bite has been very
good. There have been lot of tailing fish. This makes it much easier
for folks with little experience to maintain eye contact with their
target. I have been on tarpon when the wind and sea is calm.
We have jumped quiet a few and landed a couple this past month.
There are lots of black drum in the flats as well. Over all the
fishing has been very good. Keep only what you can eat and release
the rest. So long until next time.
